On the Fourth Day of Christmas...

my baby boy gave to me....
a long afternoon nap to give me time to blog!

Never did get around to posting last week, but here is all the Christmas fun in one big bunch.

On the 23rd, C, J and I drove up to Nana and Papa's house (my parents). They had a Holiday Open House for their friends and neighbors at which J was the guest of honor. Saw quite a few people that I knew growing up. J received many welcome home gifts as well.

My two brothers were also home for Christmas with us, so it was a full house.

Christmas Eve we mostly hung out around the house until church in the evening. Had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of clam chowder and brown bread right before church.

Christmas morning J and I were the first ones up. This is right after his bottle.
Everyone else joined us shortly though. Here is J with the tree:


He received many many gifts from both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and us. We are so thankful that he is home with us to celebrate!

We usually put gifts in laundry baskets to contain everything, but this year, he IS the present!

The day after Christmas, we headed out to the mall for some great deals at the sales with Nana and one uncle, then the three of us headed home.

He's up now from his nap though, so that's the end of this Christmas post!
