Me: "Are you going to finish your pizza, or what?"
Jonathan: "What."
After feeding the kitty, Jonathan said "Welcome." ('Cause the kitty can say thanks, don't ya' know that!)
I was upstairs for just a few minutes putting clean clothes away while Jonathan played down in the family room. I didn't hear the door, but Jonathan yelled up from the bottom of the stairs, "Knock, knock! Mama! Knock, knock!" Sure enough there was someone at the door. :)
Not a good one, but... Oh the whines! Sometimes it's enough to drive me crazy. We had to leave a store one morning because of the fit Jonathan threw about wanting to push the cart and not ride in it. After he calmed down and we returned inside we compromised. He got to push the cart directly to the back of the store where we were headed to get our items, then when we got there, he was to sit in it without protest. He gave me a pitiful look and said, "O-tay." And that is exactly what happened.
