The Sandbox = Hours of Entertainment

We inherited a sandbox last week. (Thanks Nana!) It's one of those old turtle ones with a lid. Not very big, but a nice size for toddlers. We've only had it for a week and it has already provided J (and the neighbor boys) hours of fun. There is just something about boys and digging in the dirt that is an absolute necessity.
This is a very good thing though, since it lets me work on the back yard more without J getting in my way. He still sometimes insists on "helping" me pull weeds or move dirt around the yard, but for the most part is happy to entertain himself.
(Yes.... we are still working on landscaping our backyard.... going on summer 3 now.)

Got to love anything that will safely entertain the kids! Tell C to get to work on that yard! ;) (although it already looks great in the pictures!)
