- Many more two word "sentences."
- When driving to Nana and Papa's House, repeatedly saying "Papa, papa" (though it sounds more like "Baba") and then being very disappointed when Papa wasn't actually there, for whatever reason.
- When C and I mentioned Mema in the car last night (great-grandma in Arkansas), saying "Mema, mema, mema" over and over.
- I took him back to Mother's Morning Out on Tuesday morning after a three week Christmas break. We turned into the driveway and passed the playground, and J said "School" with no prompting from me.
- Mater is officially his favorite Cars character, and the only one he knows by name.
- Grabbing Uncle M by the hand to go play with the cars, as soon as J saw him.
- Usually when we ask J, "what color is this?" he responds yellow, no matter what color it is. C was trying to impress his co-workers at dinner the other night and held up a yellow crayon to ask J to say the color. J responded "Green." :)
- This is not so cute, but a recent development. J has found his "no" though he just shakes his head firmly and is not so vocal about it. He has also found his "mine" which he does say over and over. We always tell him he is not a seagull (think "Finding Nem*o) and does not get to say "mine, mine, mine" when he wants something, even if it is really his.

Ah, "no" and "mine"... classic toddlerisms that we wish they'd just skip. :)
That is so cute with the yellow color thing. I can totally picture that whole scenario!
Wow. He is really growing up. What an adorable little man you have there!
We get the head shake too - and "me" over and over again. Ahhh!
Mater is my fav off Cars too ;)
