We met with our social worker last night for the 3rd time. She said she would be happy to approve our home study, so that is one step closer to our child. She still has to write it up which she won't do until after C's health physical in two weeks. After that, a copy goes to our agency and the state, or something like that.
Every day brings us closer to our son. I truly believe he is already born and is just waiting for us, 7000 miles away. Perhaps not, as a referral can take 9 months to a year, but everyone at the agency said the waiting list is small and they have been getting lots of babies in the past 3 months. So I'm crossing my fingers!
