Home Study Update

Last night our social worker came for a home visit to start working on our Home Study update. I think I've said this before, but she is a new social worker for us, so she had to ask many of the same questions from the first time to get a feel for Chris and I. Plus some of our answers have changed now that we are "experienced" parents. Ha!
Jonathan provided the entertainment while we talked and then was the official tour guide of our home.
L brought some good news that we had moved up the list another spot, but that my estimated time of referral of sometime this winter remains accurate. Baby steps to move us forward.
She will get our new home study done sometime in the next few weeks. It will be sent to the Korean agency once we are matched with a daughter by our US agency. (Other agencies work differently in that they send the home studies to Korea right away.) L will also be there for us once Baby Girl comes home, doing our post placement visits, and offering helpful advice if needed. :)

Way to go on the HS update! Isn't it funny how your answers change after becoming experienced parents :)

Yeah for the homestudy!
Interseting about your agency doing the matching in the US - I thought it was all done by the agencies in Korea. Learning more every day!
