Birthday Boy

Sometime in the past few days, we celebrated J's second birthday with cake and presents at home. He didn't quite get the idea of blowing out the candle, but he very meticulously opened all his gifts with very little help from us.
It was just the three of us and very low key, which I LOVED as compared to last year's crazy Tol celebration. Maybe next year we will split the difference between crazy and nothing. :)
J's gifts included many big boy things like training pants, real big boy underwear, a froggy potty, etc. You get the picture. His relatives who live out of state all sent stuff too. He really enjoyed carrying around his birthday cards for a few days. Aunt B sent two musical books which may show up in a video soon, but not in this post. Next week, we will have lunch with my side of the family in Denver to celebrate again.
Here are a few pics to share in the celebration with us:
Finally, here is a THEN (First Birthday) and NOW (Second Birthday) comparison for you. Freddy is even in both of these!
