Zoo Day

I'm so excited for this week, as J and I have many activities scheduled.
Yesterday started it all off great with a trip to the zoo on a gorgeous Colorado Spring day! We met one of my bestest friends, whom I have known since Kindergarten, at a really cool book store. Then we had lunch near there, and then went to the zoo for the afternoon.

J was fascinated by the giraffes, the gorillas and the big cats. We looked for bigger animals that were moving for him to be able to focus on.

Towards the end of the day though, all he wanted to do was push the stroller around.

He did great and stayed awake the whole time we were there, then immediately fell asleep in the car for the trip home.

It was a wonderful day and it's always fun to catch up with old friends in person!

PS- Our finalization is in ONE MONTH!

Yeah- they were filming a promotional video while we were there. :) I wonder if we can get a copy of it. What part were we in?

There was a sequence of happy parents meeting their babies. It very quickly showed you sort of holding him up and staring at him. If you know anyone traveling soon maybe they could covertly video watching the video.
