Happy Easter!

J, C and I spent a long weekend with Nana, Papa, Uncle M, and Uncle G at Nana and Papa's house. We went up a a day earlier than we had originally planned to help me finish recuperating from surgery. I was feeling much better by Saturday and we headed up to the high school for the annual community Easter Egg Hunt. We had J practice at home first which was quite funny. Here is J getting ready for the hunt at the highschool:
The hunt is divided up by age groups to give every kid a fair shot. There are "hidden" golden eggs which can be turned in for prizes. We camped out in front of one to claim it before they said "go", then turned it in for a sandbucket.
Then J picked up some jelly beans and suckers to round out his prizes.
Here he is having his first sucker:

Easter Sunday found us at church, then brunch, then driving back home to snow.
Happy Easter from our family to yours. He is risen! Alleluia!
