The Gym with a Girlfriend

Friday we met L and G for lunch and then open gym at a baby gym half way between our two homes.

It was a lot of fun and the two kiddos really seemed to enjoy being able to run around, crawl over mats and play to their heart's content. We had the place to ourselves for most of the time too, which was great.

L and I were pretty impressed that J and G were actually interacting. At this age, it is usually parallel play, and they did do that for some of the time. However, they also were playing together. Really. Eye-contact, passing balls and blocks, playing peek-a-boo over a wall, dancing together, hugs. Etc. Way cool. J sure does love his girlfriends!
